Seven checks, one place
One-way, two-way and cantilever slabs; isolated footings; shear wall moment capacity to IS 13920; approximate time period to IS 1893; and diagonal steel for short beams.
Every intermediate value on screen
Not just the answer — the loads, the moment factors, the steel percentages and the clause behind each one, so the check can be reviewed rather than trusted.
Matched to the source sheet, cell by cell
Each calculator is transcribed from the firm's own Excel file and tested against it — 168 individual cell values across every worked example in those sheets, re-run on every change.
These reproduce the source spreadsheets, including where those differ from IS 456. Five known departures are documented in the repo: the deflection modification factor is not capped at 2.0, minimum steel is taken on effective rather than gross depth, bar spacing omits the 300 mm limit, one-way slabs get no deflection or shear check, and the one-way moment coefficients sit below IS 456 Table 12. Review the output before building to it.
